What to do?

Now, this may not be a welcome idea to true vintage ephemera collectors, but one thing you can do with old ads is to use them in scrapbooking projects.

There are lots of ideas for "aging" paper, but nothing gives an ad that glorious patina like time.

Let's say you're creating a scrapbook commemorating your father's life. And, let's say he wore workboots all of his life, that would be a case when the Cedar Crest Boot ad would come in handy. You can either use the ad in its full size and simply attach it to a page of the scrapbook, or you can cut out the various pieces and use them to decorate throughout the scrapbook.
