What to do?

Let's say you see a vintage magazine ad that you just have to have...so you buy it. Now what? What can you do with it?

One of the simplest things to do with the ad is also one that will make sure you enjoy it on a regular basis: frame it and hang it on the wall.

Look for a frame that doesn't overpower the ad. Let the ad and its artwork be the most noticeable thing about the wall hanging.

Of course, you can hang your framed ad anywhere you'd like, but to make it more relevant, put the hanging in a room connected to the ad. For example, if you buy a vintage car ad, you might want to put the framed ad in your garage. A gun might go in the den, and a food ad in the kitchen.

Due to heat and high humidity, you might not want to hang a vintage ad in the bathroom.

Happy decorating!
